What app servers and DB servers to support?

My company develops a web service that works on WebLogic and WebSphere and Tomcat and JBoss, and talks to DB2 Oracle mySQL and MS SQL Server. I was tasked with Compatibility Testing and I am trying to find out on what version should I test with? What about patches; it gets very chaotic; what should be the approach?
